[edit] What do these do?

These are (typically) script files stored in an 'addon' directory that change the game's look-and-feel, and may provide different functionality, depending on how much freedom FunCom give to UI mod developers.

[edit] UI Mods in AoC

  • FunCom initially decided against UI mods, and decided to have a flexible, but closed, user interface.
  • 24th January 2008: Gaute Godinger announces plans to release a sandboxed User Interface API post-launch, so that the community may develop interface addons.[1]
