The Acolytes is a guild forming for the greatest upcoming mmo to date, Age of Conan! We know that the release of AoC is quite a ways off, but we are trying to get a good core started so we will be prepared to take on the world of Hyboria and whatever it may throw at us.

We will be a mature and very active guild that will try and do their part to continue the ongoing story within AoC! We also plan on participating in guild pvp as much as we can and take down our enemies without looking back!

Since the Acolytes are letting all races and classes into the guild we will lean more towards the neutral side of things and set certain objectives for our guild to become as successful as we can be within Hyboria. We will definitely not PK people for no good reason. We go after other players only if they have done wrong to one of our members or they are in the way of us accomplishing one of our objectives.

We expect Acolyte members will treat each other in a courteous and respectful manner at all times. People join this guild to help one another and form lasting friendships; therefore, it can only be assumed that a friendly attitude is desired towards fellow guildmates and allies.

We are accepting of all races and classes, and we want you to join now! Before you apply there are certain rules one must follow and attributes you must possess in order to even be considered worthy of wearing the colors and name of the Acolytes.

1. The Acolytes have a strict age policy of 17 years or older. If you are below the age requirement you need not apply, because your application will be automatically rejected.

2. All members will respect their fellow guildmates and/or alliances the Acolytes form in the future. A respectable tone will be required in the forums and in the game, no personal assaults will be tolerated, i.e. flaming and harassment.

2.1. Although we are a guild with an age limit, this does not give you the right to be excessively vulgar or rude to any person, inside or outside the guild.

2.2. We know everyone is unique and occasionally there will be personality clashes. If a situation does arise and you cannot resolve it on your own; you must report the issue with one of the guild officers (Redruum, Onyx, Skullcrusher, Nagoth, Heronblade, Drakus, Ksberge). We're a mature guild, so we can find a mature resolution to any situation that arises.

3. The Acolytes will be joining a RP-PvP server and will continue the ongoing story of RE Howard's vision in the game. Therefor we require our members to have a fantasy or believable role-playing name that sounds like your character actually belongs in the world of Hyboria.

3.1. Although we will be playing on a RP-PvP server we don't force our members to role-play, but we do encourage it, especially in social situations with other players and guilds.

4. We have spent a great deal of time gaining respect and building a creditable image amongst the AoC community. Remember that when you wear our name and colors, your actions reflect upon the rest of your guildmates. We will call members to account for any overt actions they commit, both in game and out, good and bad. If in doubt, ask an officer.

5. The Acolytes do not randomly or repeatably PK (player kills) for no good reason. If you die from one of our blades there is probably good reason why.
