- Starting Area: Broken Leg Glen
- The Cimmerians are proto-Celts descended from the Atlantean survivors of the Great Cataclysm and are the barbaric race from which Conan descends. They are tall, grey-eyed, dark haired and fair skinned. They are typically tall, muscular and fierce. They hold honor and loyalty important even in the face of the civilization’s double dealing and lies.

- The Stygians are a swarthy race of snake worshippers dabbling in vile magic and evil religions. The country of Stygia resembles a dark, twisted Egypto-Babylonian culture and mostly features deserts dotted by beautiful, ancient cities. They can be understood as the Egyptians from the age of the pharaohs. They have the darkest complexion and are the smallest, but they have a rich and mystical culture and are, in fact, known to make pacts with demons to harvest power.
In AoC, your race only affects your appearance and available class selection. It does not impact your statistics.
