The House of the New Dawn offers you to become part of something quite unique in Hyboria. In quick notes this includes:

- Our own religon - Our own culture - Our own laws - Our own traditions

We offer you to play something different than a Cimmerian berserker or a Stygian necromancer. While true to the setting and lore the New Dawn are their own people and one which is just beginning to form, you have a unique opportunity both as a character and player to help shape the future of the House.

So what is the New Dawn then? One could say it's a cult, or you could say it's a group of warriors, you could even say that they are scholars and researchers. The truth is that The House is all these things. While those who seek to join the New Dawn are not required to convert to have faith in the sibling gods Damak and Dyma, they are expected in the long run to do so and in order to reach any higher rank it is required. According to it's core laws, The House is ruled by the strongest and so is also it's ideal therefor there is no member that is not expected to be able to defend the New Dawn with a sword in hand. Striving for perfection in all things it is very important for the House to record past achievements and mistakes and while the research branch is a secretive part of the New Dawn it's members enjoy the potions and other enhancement drugs they produce on the battlefield as well as in other circumstances.

But then how does your character fit into the House? To make that easier as well as provide a politic arena inside the New Dawn there exists 8 different clans that separate and categorize the it's members.

The goal with our guild is to create a completely new city state in the world of Hyboria, compliant with the original lore but with it's own dynamic culture and religon to create a very unique roleplaying experience for whoever visits our capitol, meets us in the outside world and of course for our own members as well. As the guild grows we hope to become a neutral faction to count with for those that the new dawn considers to be civilzed people as it is one of the House's goals to spread their own way of life by fighting barbarism.

We created our own page on WikiAOC.

More content has been added to the Wiki, the lore was changed to make the New Dawn a few years older to allow characters to have been born by parents who are members and have reached adult age since.

12th of February 2008

Short notes version of the lore was added under the lore page, currently at 8 years before the Age of Conan.

30th of December 2007

Made sure to make ourselves known on the official AOC comunity aswell as other well-known roleplay communities, hopefully applications will start comming in soon enough. Also added more data to the wiki.

We've added a wikipedia under "about" and lots of information in it.
