[edit] 5.1 What races are in the game?
You can be a Stygian, a Cimmerian, or an Aquilonian. For more information on those races, see Here.
[edit] 5.2 Where are the dwarves and elves and gnomes?
There are none! Not a one. Hyboria, the world of Conan, is not the typical fantasy world of orcs and fairies. While you will certainly find a myriad of mysical creatures, terrible monsters, exotic races, and mighty gods, you will not find all the typical high-fantasy elements.
[edit] 5.3 Will the races have any advantages or disadvantages?
Yes. Each playable race can only play certain classes, based on the lore (as well as to ensure a balance between the races). Selecting one race will have implications within the game, at class selection and beyond.
[edit] 5.4 Will one race be more evil than the others?
There are no playable “evil” races in Age of Conan. But, of course, roleplaying opens up a world of possibilities, and Hyboria is known for its gallery of rogues (and not just the archetype!), ne’er-do-wells, and shady characters. One nation’s opinion on another can also affect things greatly. Who, after all, decides what is good and what is evil?

Aside from the obvious visual differences, no. Female characters have no class restrictions, stat hits, or any other penalty for being female.
