The first hour as you said until level 5 is about an hour. Level 20 is intended to take like 12ish hours. The time investment for level 80 will be more considerable but not unapproachable to the casual player.[1]

Q: Have you heard/tried the LoTRO Deed feature? In AoC is there any similar non-static non-linear means of advancing your character outside the level grind?

The deed feature is indeed interesting. Altho I did not see it as doing anything really special for my character it was interesting to feel like I was accomplishing lots of little goals. I would classify the deeds as rewards/customization rather than advancement as it does not help you access additional content, or level up, or gain new skills etc. It's mostly fluff (great fluff). We have discussed some similar things in the past like this but we will see later in Beta how it goes.

Q: What ways are there to gain xp? Will it be restricted to killing mobs, accomplishing quests and (maybe) crafting? What I am esp. concerned about is: Will exploring reward you with more than the players knowledge (that no one needs as soon as the first sites on the net got the "relevant" info)?

I don't think you will be able to truly level from exploration, one of the issues as you stated is once everyone knows where to go and its on a spoiler site any exploration experience gain would simply be ruined by being worked into level up guides.

Q: For a guy who is mostly interested in PvP. Even tho questing and PvE might be alot more fun in this game than in others, how much time will be needed to get to max lvl? Same as in WoW? (just comparing amount of time) Im assuming people who defend/attack keeps will need maxlvls.

In general I would say the amount of time will be roughly the same played time wise as a reasonably experienced person could have leveled in WoW. I base this off played time because depending on how often people play and for how long etc will dramatically change the time frame.

Q: Will there be any PvE levelvs PvP level caps? What I mean is, you can get 20 PvP levels, but you need to be a certian PvE level to get certain PvP level. For example: to obtain PvP level 20, your PvE level is required to be at least 70.

No the two systems are completely separate
